The inception of STRIKEGLASS was driven by a real-world event. A homeowner, and good friend of our founders was the victim of a home invasion. While fending off the invaders he was injured, and he and his family felt violated, all while the criminals escaped. With a background in the window and door manufacturing and installation business, and began to innovate. Leaning on our 30 years of knowledge and experience, and based on the victims needs, we decided to develop a solution to protect his home without altering the existing window structure or resorting to ugly security measures like bars or gates. We feel that victims of a home invasion shouldn’t have to live their lives as if they were in prison.

Recognizing a gap in the market for effective, visually unobtrusive security glazing, we developed a solution that would offer both protection and preserve the architectural integrity of buildings. Through extensive research and development, we created STRIKEGLASS—a line of retrofit security glazing systems that provide high-level protection while maintaining a home or building’s original appearance. Our products are designed to be adaptable to various framing materials and configurations, ensuring a custom fit for each application.
