Every installation starts with the same question: where is this property most vulnerable? The answer shapes everything that follows. Below is a selection of STRIKEGLASS installations completed by 416 Security Solutions across the Greater Toronto Area.

Residential Homes

We have completed STRIKEGLASS installations on homes throughout Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, and surrounding communities. Each project is different — older homes in established neighbourhoods with aged window stock, newer builds where builder-grade glass was the only thing standing between a family and a forced entry, ground-floor units where a standard patio door was the weakest point in an otherwise well-secured property.

The approach is consistent: assess every ground-floor entry point, identify the highest-priority glass, and install STRIKEGLASS over the existing windows and doors without replacing them. Most residential installations are completed in a single day. Homeowners keep their views, their natural light, and their existing window frames. What changes is what happens when someone tries to get through the glass.

Residential clients across the GTA have installed STRIKEGLASS for a range of reasons: following a break-in on their street, ahead of an extended vacation, after a security assessment identified their sliding patio door as the most accessible entry point on the property, and in some cases simply because they wanted the peace of mind of knowing their home’s most vulnerable points were genuinely protected.

Storefronts

Retail storefronts face a specific and well-documented threat. A smash-and-grab on a standard glass storefront takes seconds. The merchandise is gone before the alarm has finished its first cycle.

416 Security Solutions has installed STRIKEGLASS on commercial storefronts across Toronto and the GTA, working with retailers in street-level locations, shopping centre environments, jewelery stores and standalone commercial properties. In each case, the installation addresses the same fundamental vulnerability: standard glass that offers no meaningful resistance to a coordinated forced entry.

STRIKEGLASS on a retail storefront is invisible to customers. The display is fully visible. The signage reads clearly. Nothing about the shopping experience changes. What changes is what a criminal encounters when they attempt entry — glass that absorbs repeated high-force impacts without shattering, and a timeline that no smash-and-grab operation can work within.

For retail clients, the benefit extends beyond security. UV protection preserves merchandise and interior finishes from sun damage. Improved insulation reduces heating and cooling costs in street-level commercial spaces. And the installation is typically completed outside of business hours, with no disruption to trading.
